Too often we talk about the girls, the girls and again the girls...that's not to ignore how important the dominants are. You make or break the atmosphere in the club. Let's strive to make it fun and not take ourselves too seriously. Our Dominants are the best, the girls crave your attention and respect. Go slow at first.
HOUSES- CHANGES IN THE CLUB
The debate about whether we need to be more BDSM is certain to continue but, with the introduction of the Houses, particularly Hotaling House, we will be showing a harder BDSM edge. Will we suddenly be the place for hard core BDSM folks to come, of course not...we never were. Will we attract only well trained slave girls, not a chance. But, we will have that component and ability to draw in the BDSM community over time.
The houses recognize that we have girls who come to us for a variety of reasons, many are looking for extreme domination. One of the failings of our system is that girls do not get this type of attention from our customers. When they also don't receive it from our Dominants, they are disappointed. What also needs to be recognized is that there is another group of girls who are looking for something else, a milder form of domination or one that does not include the verbal abusiveness of extreme BDSM. The houses will make these differences more apparent and allow dominants and submissives with the same styles to more easily have their needs met.
Girls on our top 20 board are there because of time they spend, find a little time for them maybe even moderate your style a little, not a lot, for the interaction. For some girls anyone who rates themselves as more than a "3" on the dominant scale represents danger; they'll grow or perish with your help.
The challenge for our Dominants, as we've always said, is to fulfill Madame's promise to the girls. This only sounds like a simple task if we ignore that each of the girls is looking for something different. Communication and one on one interactions are the key. With girls inside your house, this interaction will be much simpler, you will know them better and already know what styles they enjoy.
A Quick Word About the Club
We need the club to pay for the sims with their numerous play areas. Like it or not most clients who come to the brothel are looking for vanilla sex. This revenue comes because we are a relatively busy club. We need to staff it with girls and dominants who are willing to serve customers. The dominants are also responsible to manage the club. The interactions between Dominant and submissive in the club are almost more for the entertainment of our customers than the fulfilling of our promise. Having said that, most girls still love to get your attention, to be on display, to be participating in RP, or on leash at your feet or even as Mistress Tai has so often shown on leash dancing in unison. Knowing what a girl enjoys and treating her appropriately is determined by talking to her.
In the club all of the styles intermingle in a business atmosphere; this mingling of styles and expectations can be a challenge. The house designations may help with this as the girls will recognize by your house what style you practice.All of this is fine within the context of the houses. Our challenge will be to keep happy productive girls working in the club even when they don't necessarily fit within our particular style. Respect needs to be our goal and while you may think that because of your title, respect follows, that is not universally accepted. Some of the girls will see your approach as disrespectful, become angry or upset and we lose that girl, forever. No one said it was easy.
The club is also where frustrations over gaps in a girl's training come to the fore. Make sure you are intimately familiar with the training material they receive, see the table here Training Contents and the Infraction Cards for help. A week seldom passes when there isn't a question about dancers escorting or friending dominants or Escort Boards...sometimes the answers given are not correct. Hours and hours of training are spent on these girls, you play a huge part in deciding whether she stays, if you find the helping too frustrating pass the girl off to someone else. It's not easy. Details of the training group should be released soon, they can be your experts and available to help or take over.
With the introduction of houses, we need to provide some more direction about the relationship dominant to dominant and dominant to girls of different houses within the club. Respect will have to be the watchword here.
Our management structure in the club is now based heavily upon the length of service of our members. It only follows that, those who have been here a long time may be able to help our newer members. That's the relationship we are striving for, "helpful co-operation" no matter what your rank. We hope that our more junior people will accept the help and advice and that the senior people will treat them as equals within the club. None of these rules preclude RP between Dominants. In role play the scene can include whatever the parties agree too, up to and including stretching limits. It is about communicating that first.
Houses
The house a girl chooses at graduation is going to immediately communicate to the dominants what level the girl feels she's on. This decision will not be irrevocable, in fact, for some girls moving through the houses will help her to learn more about and embrace her submission and slavery. We propose that girls be able to move from house to house, after consulting with the Mistress in charge. All are welcome, recognize the people you meet here and take your first hint from the house they belong too. Just the separation into houses must tell you something about the girl. The descriptions provide some idea of how they view themselves and the relationship they want. Not every dominant will mesh with every girl, but, we need to be aware of the hurt we can do.
Here's a brief description of the houses and styles. HOTALING - STRICT OR SEVERE DOMINANTS Let's start with the model that's probably the most familiar and popular, the Strict or Severe Dominant. This is the one seen most often in the media and on commercial web sites. The dominant woman or man is a cruel and distant dominant who treats the submissives/slaves like worms, dirt, garbage, take your pick. I suspect this is popular because it's hot, at least, in the moment. It's a sociological view that basically says that Dominants are superior and deserve respect. Then, depending on their own ideologies, people add personal bells and whistles like hoods and other forms of restriction and humiliation. It takes a lot of work to maintain this scenario, slaves require attention mostly for the things they do wrong. Seldom will this punishment take the form you might prefer.
HANSEN - CLASSICAL BDSM Classical BDSM is an always on connection involving total power exchange (TPE). Even though the partners don't always overtly express dominance or submission, the dynamic still exists. It may include many of the outward manifestations of the Strict or Severe dominants, such as chains, floggings even tight restrictive clothing. Sometimes people confuse the Strict Severe model with this model, however, classical BDSM isn't defined by verbal abuse. It's defined by the constant nature of the power transfer. Most life-stylers are everyday people, with the same problems and pleasures as vanilla people. The difference is that the power balance in their relationships is deliberately and consensually skewed.
BRAVEHEART - SILK SCARF The final house is the least severe. I think it is apt to describe its style as Silk Scarf. The power transfer exists but the manifestation is more gentle. Madame Aprille sometimes describes domination on this level as pampered pet, leashed and obedient. We could also think of it as a strict, Victorian era marriage; one partner is in charge, the other obeys. If that partner doesn't obey, he or she is firmly corrected. Some people enjoy very limited and temporary power transfers. These are people who are basically vanilla and who sometimes play BDSM type roles to spice up their sex lives. It's fun, it's hot, it's fulfilling but it shouldn't be confused with true BDSM. It might, however, be a first tentative step on a path to something more intense.
New Girls
New girls graduating from portal four will be presented with the option of choosing a house, either Hotaling, Hansen or Braveheart. The descriptions or something similar to them will appear inside the training centre. Initially, we expect to be able to show who from the chosen house is currently on line. Eventually, Madame Aprille wishes to borrow something akin to the sorting hat from Harry potter. You may have heard her speak of the sorting rack. It is hoped that this early contact with someone within your house, be it a mistress, master, a dominant or even slave will help to cement the relationship.
Training
Once a girl has chosen a house, we can begin to teach her a little about being at Toy Slaves. Up to this point, we've recruited the girl, put her through some initial training, collared her and finally given her the basic tools to become a productive member of the brothel. What we haven't done is given her instruction in how to interact in her new D/s role. That comes in Portal 5 but will be much more effective with a little coaching from her House. You are her first contact with us, please recognize that she may be any of the 3 types we've mentioned. She may not respond well to an aggressive approach. For this reason, we suggest that girls new to the club be welcomed then instructed to kneel to one of the dominants probably you. Give her the once over. Is she wearing the brand, barcode and tattoo? Has she removed the gag? What questions has she got?
Groups
We'll create three groups each owned by Madame Aprille for communication within the group. You can use this channel for your private communications. Please always remember that the girls primary allegiance is to Madame Aprille and that they are owned by her.
WHAT YOU DO WITHIN THE HIERARCHY AND RANKS OF YOUR OWN HOUSE IS UP TO YOU. If you set rigid styles and hierarchy within your own house, you need to be aware that they will not necessarily be the same in another house.
I want us to look for the best in every girl who comes to us especially during her initial interactions, let's build on the excitement she arrives with. The world will not end if they aren't perfect day 1 or even (perish the thought) day 10, we're looking for a longer term.
